It’s time to register for Kyle’s Slap Shot Challenge Tournament on Saturday, August 2, at Rochester Ice Center!

The tournament is exclusively for Jr. Amerks players and it’s our official kickoff to the 2025-26 season. Now in its fifth year, the proceeds from the tournament support Kyle’s Slap Shot Challenge Foundation to benefit the Pediatric Oncology Department at Golisano Children’s Hospital.

The day will bring the Jr. Amerks community together with 3v3 hockey for the kids, live music, carnival games, a variety of food trucks, and an auction featuring unique items, with all proceeds going to Golisano Children’s Hospital.

As you’re planning the day, 8U-12U players will be on the ice in the morning, and 14U and 18U players will skate in the afternoon. We’ll release a more detailed schedule mid-summer.
