The Sean Shortsleeve Memorial Scholarship was established in 2004 in loving memory of the seven-year-old Perinton Youth Hockey player who lost his life to meningitis. Each year, the Jr. Amerks allocate funds to the Sean Shortsleeve Memorial Scholarship Fund to help families in financial need by covering a portion of their season dues.
The Sean Shortsleeve Memorial Scholarship Fund helps the Jr. Amerks provide a place to play and an opportunity to succeed and have fun for every kid who wants to play hockey. We are committed to making hockey as affordable as possible for families.
