Goalie Clinics 26/27

Schedule

Group 223

We are committed to investing in the development of our goaltenders. As part of that commitment, we have partnered with Danny Kuntz and NewEdge School of Goaltending to provide dedicated goalie training throughout the season. These clinics provide position-specific instruction focused on technique, fundamentals, confidence, and overall development.

Goalie clinics take the place of regular team practice on scheduled clinic dates. Goalies should attend their assigned clinic instead of team practice and notify their head coach at least 48 hours in advance. Coaches are aware of the program and schedule; the advance notice is simply a courtesy and helps teams plan accordingly.

Group assignments are communicated directly to each goalie and their parent/guardian. Clinic dates and times are listed below.

Dan Kuntz is a highly respected goaltending coach and development specialist based in Rochester, NY, with more than 15 years of coaching experience across the travel, high school, junior, and collegiate levels.

Dan is an Assistant Coach with the St. John Fisher University men’s and women’s hockey programs, where he works primarily with the Cardinals’ goaltenders. He is also co-owner of NewEdge School of Goaltending, one of the Rochester area’s premier goalie development programs. His clinics and private training sessions are consistently in high demand, reflecting his reputation for developing goaltenders through individualized, high-level instruction.

During his high school career at Churchville-Chili, he was named Monroe County Player of the Year, First Team All-State, and Section V Goaltender of the Year.

Dan’s approach combines strong technical fundamentals, game-situation awareness, mental preparation, and confidence building. Through on-ice instruction, video analysis, private lessons, and team-focused clinics, he works to develop smart, resilient, and technically sound goaltenders prepared to compete at increasingly higher levels of the game.

The Rochester Jr. Americans are proud to partner with Dan and NewEdge to provide dedicated, high-level goaltending development for Jr. Amerks goalies throughout the season.
