Jr. Amerks Announce Coaching Updates for 12U AA Teams

The Rochester Jr. Americans have finalized several coaching updates for the 12U (2014) AA teams for the upcoming season.

Kevin Fitzgerald, who served as Head Coach of the 12U AA1 team, will not be returning to that role next season after his son was selected for the 12U AAA team. The organization appreciates the time and commitment Kevin has given to the program. Like all Jr. Amerks coaches, Kevin served in a volunteer role, dedicating significant time to support the development of young players in the organization.

With this change, Mark Pelligra will move up to serve as Head Coach of the 12U AA1 team. Mark previously led the 12U AA2 team and brings several years of coaching experience within the Jr. Amerks program. A Webster, New York native, Mark played collegiately at SUNY Brockport and is known for his steady, fundamentals-focused coaching style and commitment to player development.

To fill the opening created by Mark’s move, Andy Juskiw will step in as Head Coach of the 12U AA2 team. Andy has been a coach with the Jr. Amerks for several seasons and brings valuable experience and dedication to the role.

The organization is pleased with this coaching structure and the continuity it provides. All three coaches bring strong experience and a shared focus on creating a positive environment where players can continue to develop their skills and confidence within the Jr. Amerks program.
