Jr. Amerks Alum Jack Napieralski Commits to North Carolina State University
The Rochester Jr. Americans are proud to recognize alum Jack Napieralski on his commitment to North Carolina State University, where he will continue his hockey career at the ACHA Division I level while studying Finance.
A Fairport native (2006 birth year), Jack began his hockey journey in the Jr. Amerks beginner program at just five years old and developed within the organization through his youth years. After his 15U season, he advanced to the Syracuse Nationals 16U AAA program to continue his development.
Jack attended McQuaid Jesuit from 6th through 11th grade before reclassing and moving on to Albany Academy, where he spent two seasons playing New England prep school hockey. He served as an assistant captain during his senior year, further establishing himself as a leader on and off the ice.
Throughout his development, Jack has trained extensively with Coach Francois Methot and has been a consistent presence at Next Level Strength and Conditioning since the age of 12.
Following graduation, Jack moved on to junior hockey with the New Jersey 87’s of the Eastern Hockey League, the defending league champions. As a rookie defenseman, he quickly made an impact—earning selection to the EHL All-Star Team, which competed in exhibition games against NCAA Division III programs Lebanon Valley and Stevenson University.
Jack capped off an outstanding rookie campaign by being named to the EHL All-Rookie Team and leading all defensemen in scoring with 10 goals and 35 assists in 50 games.
He has elected to forego his final year of junior eligibility to take the next step in his academic and athletic career at NC State, joining one of the top ACHA Division I programs in the country.
Congratulations to Jack and his family on this well-earned accomplishment.
