ALUMNI ALERT – Tyler Procious commits to play D1 hockey at AIC

Jr. Amerks Alumni and current player of the Rochester Jr. Americans of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) has announced that defenseman Tyler Procious has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for American International College in Atlantic Hockey.

Procious, 20, is in his first season playing in the NAHL for the Jr. Americans and fourth season of junior hockey overall. The 5’10/166 lbs. native of Rochester, NY, has recorded 25 points (2 goals, 23 assists) in 25 games played to date, which currently ranks him 3rd in scoring among all NAHL defensemen.

“I am honored and humbled to announce my commitment to play division 1 hockey at AIC. Thank you to my friends, family, coaches and teammates for everything along the way. Excited for the next 4!” said Procious.

Prior to playing in the NAHL, Procious grew up playing youth hockey with the Rochester Monarchs (now known as Jr. Amerks) and played three seasons of junior hockey in the USHL for the Waterloo Black Hawks, Muskegon Lumberjacks, and Omaha Lancers.
