Alumni Update: ’07 Goaltender Ethan Phillips Commits to Providence College
Ethan Phillips, a native of Rochester, NY, and one of our proud alumni, has just committed to play NCAA Division I hockey at Providence College in the highly competitive Hockey East conference. But that’s not all—before this major commitment, Ethan received a tender from the Rochester Jr. Americans in the North American Hockey League (NAHL).
Born in 2007, Ethan’s journey began on the ice with the Jr. Amerks, where he quickly emerged as a standout goalie for our nationally ranked 13U AAA Team. His skills and dedication between the pipes made him a crucial part of the team’s success.
Ethan didn’t stop there. He went on to sharpen his talents at Bishop Kearney Selects, playing 14U, 15U, and 16U. The Bishop Kearney Selects, based in Rochester. Ethan’s hard work and relentless drive on the ice paid off when he received a tender from the Rochester Jr. Americans (NAHL), underscoring his commitment and passion for the sport.
Congratulations to Ethan Phillips on this tremendous achievement! We’re excited to see what the future holds for him at Providence College and beyond.
Stay tuned for more updates on our alumni and current players.
