Matt Tweedle, a lifelong Monroe County resident, has been coaching youth hockey for the past five years. He prioritizes creating a positive team culture built on respect, teamwork, and resilience. His coaching philosophy emphasizes being a good teammate, showing respect for others—including coaches, parents, and officials—and overcoming adversity, helping players succeed both on and off the ice.

Matt lives in Webster with his wife, Dana, and their children, Genevieve and James. He is also closely connected with his parents and extended family, who are often seen supporting at the rink.


Season Overview:

  • Full Season with 40+ Games including tournaments
  • Member of Western New York Amateur Hockey League
  • Two team practices per week (Full and Shared)
  • Skills clinics by RIC Academy & NAHL Jr. Amerks every other week
  • Goaltender clinics by New Edge School of Goaltending throughout the season
  • Off-ice training with Next Level Strength and Conditioning
  • Team building and community service events
