Our Girls Program is growing! In the 2025-2026 season we plan to offer Girls travel teams at 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 19U. Our Tier I teams are eligible to compete for state and national championships. Learn more about our Girls Program
2025-2026 Girls Team Tryouts Schedule
Tryouts for the upcoming season will be held at Rochester Ice Center, Paul Louis Arena, and Genesee Valley Sports Complex. A $50 registration fee is required, and registration will open one month prior to tryouts. For any questions, please contact the respective team's head coach or visit our Contact Us page.

frequently asked questions
The tryout dates for the 2025-26 youth hockey season are determined by the New York State Amateur Hockey Association and USA Hockey. Tryouts are split into two age groups: 12U & below and 13U & above. Below are the scheduled dates for each group.
March 4 - March 8, 2025
- Age groups: 9U, 10U, 11U, and 12U
- Birth Years: 2013 - 2016
April 8 - April 12, 2025
- Age groups: 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U, 18U, and 19U
- Birth Years: 2006 - 2012
To ensure our girls have the support needed as they navigate the road between youth hockey and college recruiting, Coach Scott McDonald serves as College Liaison for the Jr. Amerks Girls program.
In his role, Coach McDonald works with coaches and families in our Girls program to provide education and support around the college recruitment process. He ensures teams are attending the right tournaments to maximize exposure for our players. He facilitates relationships between college coaches and our players to support recruitment efforts when the time is right. Ultimately, Coach McDonald empowers our players and families with the information and connections needed to support our girls and their hockey dreams.
We partner with New Edge School of Goaltending to offer dedicated goalie-specific training sessions throughout the season, providing players with the opportunity to enhance their skills at no additional cost.
Our organization is committed to delivering top-notch instruction and development for goaltenders. With the expertise of New Edge School of Goaltending, our program follows a meticulously designed progression plan. The drills and coaching techniques implemented are geared towards cultivating highly competitive, mobile, athletic, and fundamentally sound goaltenders who can excel in the hockey ranks.
