Group 223

Returning for another exciting season, Jon Obstarczyk is a highly experienced and dedicated hockey coach. As a Buffalo native, Jon's love for the game started at a young age as he developed his skills playing in the prestigious Buffalo Regals AAA program. His hard work and talent earned him a spot on the Saint Francis High School hockey team, where he honed his skills and excelled on the ice.

With over a decade of coaching experience under his belt, Jon has become an integral part of the Jr. Amerks program. He has served as an assistant coach with the 2007 AAA team for several seasons and has also made his mark with the beginner program, mites, squirts, and peewee teams. Jon's passion for coaching and developing young players is evident in his commitment to the Jr. Amerks program and the success of his teams.

When he's not on the ice, Jon is the proud owner of Father, Son & Associates Insurance Agency, with offices in Buffalo and Fairport. He lives in Penfield with his wife Jennifer, daughter Madeleine, and sons Tommy and Nick. With his extensive playing and coaching experience, Jon is poised to lead the next generation of Jr. Amerks players to new heights on the ice.
