Head Coach Nick Rawden is an experienced hockey coach, known for his work with youth and high school teams. His passion for developing young talent has made him a trusted leader among players and families. Rawden previously led the Jr. Amerks 2014 AA teams and has contributed to the 8U program and the Webster Cyclones. Before focusing on youth hockey, he coached high school hockey in Syracuse, NY, from 2008 to 2010, making a significant impact by preparing players for higher levels. Rawden's ability to connect with and inspire young athletes continues to drive his success in coaching.
Assistant Coach Kristina Schuler is a passionate and talented coach with a strong playing background at NCAA Division I Boston University and Clarkson University. Before college, she captained Choate Rosemary Hall’s varsity team, earning the Caroline Ruutz-Rees Award for her athletic contributions.
As a coach, Kristina has been a dedicated leader in our girls’ program, serving as a head coach and helping develop young players. She combines her extensive playing experience with strong leadership, inspiring and teaching her team to succeed. Committed to growth and development, Kristina is a rising star in hockey coaching.
Season Overview:
- Full Season with 50+ Game Independent Tier I AAA Schedule
- Five tournaments
- 3-Day Training Camp in August at Rochester Ice Center
- Two team practices per week (Full and Shared) primarily at Rochester Ice Center and Genesee Valley
- One Skills clinics by RIC Academy & NAHL Jr. Amerks per week
- Goaltender clinics by New Edge School of Goaltending throughout the season
- Weekly Off-ice training with Next Level Strength and Conditioning with progress monitoring throughout the season
- Team building and community service events
