15U AAA Defenseman Ryan Kozara Commits to Bishop Kearney Selects
The Rochester Jr. Americans are proud to announce that Ryan Kozara, a top defensive prospect and key contributor on our 15U AAA team, will attend Bishop Kearney High School in Rochester, New York next season, where he will continue both his academic and hockey development.
In addition to his impact with the Jr. Amerks, Ryan has also excelled on the ice for McQuaid Jesuit’s Varsity Hockey Team, earning recognition for his high-end skill, hockey IQ, and relentless competitiveness. These qualities have made him one of the premier defensemen in the region for his age group.
Ryan’s development has also been recognized at the state and national levels. He was selected to attend the 15U USA Hockey National Development Camp last summer—an honor reserved for the top players in the country—and the New York State 14U Development Camp the previous year in Oswego.
Bishop Kearney is home to the BK Selects program, which competes at the highest levels of USA Hockey and consistently develops student-athletes for junior, NCAA, and professional hockey. The program provides coaching, performance training, and a rigorous national schedule, all within an academic and faith-based environment.
We are incredibly proud of Ryan’s growth and accomplishments, and we look forward to following his continued success at Bishop Kearney and beyond.
