Jr. Amerks to Field 14U AA Mixed Age Travel Team for 2026 Season

Following a strong turnout during recent tryouts at the 13U and 14U age levels, the Jr. Amerks will move forward with plans to field a 14U AA Mixed Age travel team for the upcoming season. The team will be composed of players from the 2012 and 2013 birth years.

The level of interest and overall depth across both age groups made it clear that there is more than enough talent to support an additional competitive team. This decision ensures that more players have the opportunity to continue their development in a structured, team-first environment while competing at an appropriate level.

The 14U AA Mixed team will follow the Jr. Amerks development model, emphasizing skill progression, game awareness, and long-term growth, while maintaining a competitive schedule that supports player advancement.
