Barry Smith Leads Girls Hockey Clinic at Rochester Ice Center

The Rochester Jr. Americans girls program recently welcomed longtime professional hockey coach Barry Smith to Rochester Ice Center for a special on-ice clinic with our players.

Smith has spent decades coaching at the highest levels of hockey, including stops with the Buffalo Sabres, Pittsburgh Penguins, Detroit Red Wings and Phoenix Coyotes, as well as extensive coaching experience in Europe. During his career, he has been part of seven Stanley Cup championship teams.

Our players had the opportunity to work directly with Smith on the ice, learning from his experience and approach to player development.

We appreciate Barry taking the time to come to Rochester and work with our girls. It was a great experience for everyone who participated and another opportunity to bring high-level instruction to the Jr. Amerks girls program.
