Alumni: Napieralski and Sember Selected to EHL All-Star College Series
Two Rochester Jr. Americans alumni — Jack Napieralski and Ryan Sember — have been selected to compete in the 2025 Eastern Hockey League (EHL) All-Star College Series, a prestigious event that showcases top junior players in matchups against NCAA programs.
The All-Star College Series gives players the opportunity to compete in front of college coaches and scouts while representing the EHL’s best talent. For Napieralski and Sember, the selection is another milestone in their hockey journeys and a reflection of the strong developmental foundation built within the Jr. Amerks organization.
Jack Napieralski – From Rochester Roots to EHL Scoring Leader
A 2006-born defenseman, Jack Napieralski is making a major impact in his first season with the NJ 87’s, where he currently leads all EHL defensemen in scoring. Napieralski’s path to success has deep Rochester roots. He played varsity hockey at McQuaid Jesuit, where he quickly stood out for his vision, puck movement, and calm presence under pressure. After his junior year, he advanced to Albany Aca
demy Prep, where he continued to refine his game against elite competition.
This past summer, Napieralski attended the Rochester Jr. Americans NAHL Main Camp, competing against some of the region’s top junior talent and further demonstrating his readiness to perform at the next level. Now in the EHL, his combination of hockey IQ, offensive instincts, and leadership has made him one of the league’s most exciting young blue-liners.
Ryan Sember – A Steady Presence and Leader for the New England Wolves
Joining Napieralski on the All-Star roster is Ryan Sember, another 2006-born defenseman who continues to excel with the New England Wolves. Now in his third full EHL season, Sember has developed into one of the Wolves’ most reliable players, anchoring their defensive unit with confidence and experience. Known for his steady play, attention to detai
l, and leadership on and off the ice, he has earned the trust of his coaches in every situation — from shutting down top lines to leading by example in the locker room.
Sember’s continued success highlights his commitment to growth and his consistency as a defensive cornerstone.
Pride in the Jr. Amerks Pathway
For the Rochester Jr. Americans, seeing alumni like Napieralski and Sember earn EHL All-Star recognition underscores the organization’s mission: developing complete players who combine skill, character, and a love for the game.
Their accomplishments are a source of pride for the Jr. Amerks community and a reminder that the work put in at every level — from youth to juniors — pays off in opportunities like this.
Congratulations to Jack Napieralski and Ryan Sember on their well-deserved selection to the 2025 EHL All-Star College Series. Both players continue to represent the Jr. Amerks name with class, dedication, and excellence on and off the ice.
